Privacy policy

Movemint is a bodyweight movement and mobility app. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it. The short version: almost everything stays on your phone.
There is no account
Movemint has no sign-up, no login, and no user account. We do not know who you are, and there is no profile of you anywhere.
What stays on your device
Everything you create and everything the app records about your activity is stored only on your phone:
- The routines you build.
- Your session history: what you did, when, and for how long.
- Your streak, which is calculated from that history.
- The optional one-tap feel rating after a session.
- Your settings and preferences.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is gone, so use your phone's backup if you want to keep it.
What leaves your device
From the phone app, four things, and nothing else:
- Checking for new content. The app fetches a small file listing the available exercise and music packs. This is an ordinary web request and includes no information about you.
- Downloading packs. When you download an exercise or music pack, the app requests those files. Again, no information about you is attached.
- Advertising. After you finish a session, the app may show one short video ad through Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized. They are not based on your interests, your browsing, or anything you have done in this app. Your routines, your session history, and your feel ratings are never sent to the advertising system in any form. AdMob receives what it needs to serve a generic ad, such as your approximate region and device type. Google's handling of that is covered by their own policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, a report goes to Sentry so the problem can be fixed. It contains technical details about the crash. Personal data is removed before it is sent.
The website and the web app
This website and the web app at movemint.website/app set no cookies and run no analytics, and there are no third-party scripts on either. The web app keeps your routines, history and settings in your browser's own storage on your device, the same way the phone app keeps them on your phone, and never sends them anywhere. It downloads exercise files the same way the phone app does, with nothing about you attached. There are no ads and no purchases on the web.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the ordinary request data a browser sends, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages. We do not look at it or keep it.
What we do not do
- We do not use analytics. There is no tracking of which screens you open or which features you use.
- We do not use advertising identifiers for tracking across apps.
- We do not collect health information. Movemint has no pain scale, no symptom log, no injury or condition tracking, no body weight, no photos, and no heart rate. The optional feel rating after a session is three choices about how hard the session felt, and it never leaves your phone.
- We do not sell or share your information, because we do not have it.
Your music
If you choose to play music from your own library, the app reads those files from your device to play them. Nothing is copied, uploaded, or examined. The permission is used only to play what you select.
Purchases
If you buy Remove Ads or leave a tip, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. We receive only confirmation that a purchase was made.
Children
Movemint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and since the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing to collect.
Your rights
Because your data never leaves your phone, you already have complete control over it. Deleting the app removes everything. There is nothing held on our side to request, export, or erase.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the app will ask for your advertising preferences through Google's consent form the first time you see an ad, and you can change that choice in Settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version is posted here. Material changes will be noted in the app.
